Jalvayu Vihar Sanskritik kalyan Samiti (JVSKS) celebrated Annual Day at Sector-21 Jalvayu Vihar Community Ground on 7th May’22. Like every year JVSKS felicitated the octogenarian in this annual day. A get together among the members to share a cultural evening followed by delicious dinner. Young talents of our locality had showcased excellent stage performance to make the evening memorable.

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a public holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent Assembly, came into effect. India attained independence following the independence movement noted for largely non-violent resistance and civil disobedience.
Every year the eastern part of India is ravaged by extreme climatic upheavals. Some of the large parts of Assam are hit with floods bringing life to a screeching halt. The second biggest urban and commercial centre Silchar in Assam’s Barak Valley was under water and flood ravaged recently. Silchar witnessed floods of such severity after 15 years. The Barak River flows along the town, swells following continuous rains. It was devastating to see an entire river entering the town area bringing in destruction and damages. With no electricity, food, drinking water and internet connection life came to a standstill.
With the help of a non-political, non-sectarian spiritual organization Ramkrishna mission - Silchar, which is engaged in various forms of humanitarian, social service activities and Jalvayu Vihar Sanskritik Kalyan Samity (JVSKS – Noida, Uttar Pradesh), relief camp was organised for the upliftment of the affected people. JVSKS is registered under Societies Registration Act and is a registered non-profit community organisation with the sole objective of service towards social, cultural and charitable activities benefitting the society. Some of the notable relief work undertaken by JVSKS is Latur earthquake 1993, Uttarakhand destruction 2013, catastrophic tropical cyclone Amphan 2021 and now Barak Valley 2022. In addition, locally too JVSKS is widely known for its philanthropic aspect in the neighbourhood by organizing frequent camps for the downtrodden by distributing woollens, sarees, uniforms, tiffin box, books for their daily needs. JVSKS consistently and persistently aims to make the world a better place by promoting and enhancing human welfare and goodwill in the form of donating money for a worthy cause, volunteering time, efforts that help others and society as a whole.
Mahatma Gandhi placed a high value on cleanliness based on the Swatch Bharat Mission, which our Prime Minister announced in honour of Gandhi Jayanti. On 14th August’22 JVSKS Noida organised a cleanliness drive for their community with the help of the HCL Foundation as a tribute to another legendary leader, Subhash Chandra Bose, who shared their vision for a clean India. The campaign included a variety of actions, such as a cleanliness campaign throughout the area to teach both the young and old the value of upholding cleanliness in our immediate surroundings.
Sensation Nukkar Natak was organised, urging the audience to uphold hygiene and segregate dry and wet garbage. Posters with stirring slogans were designed to raise awareness.
